Located in Oxford, Ohio, Miami University is the second oldest university in Ohio and an idyllic college town. The school also claims to be one of the original eight Public Ivy schools. Miami University was started by an Act of Congress that was signed by George Washington for an academy in the Miami Valley. The campus holds a host of intriguing architecture using classic red bricks while others are encased in stone.
