Located outside of Moab, Utah, Canyonlands National Park entails a rich collection of mesas and canyons carved by the Colorado and Green Rivers. The rich red outcrops consist of erosional features of the Navajo Sandstone driven by the Colorado Plateau Uplift. One of the most famous points of interest lies in Mesa Arch in the Island in the Sky District of the park. From this eastern outcrop, one can see, White Rim, La Sal Mountains, and the Washer Woman Arch.
