Flower Art Prints
Flower Art Prints
These galleries contain Flower art prints featuring some of the prettiest specimens I’ve found. Some of these flowers and wildflowers bloom all season, while some only bloom for 2 or 3 days. Imaging these flowers during various seasons takes research and persistence. I think you’ll enjoy these prints on your walls or in important spaces.
Creating Floral Artwork
There are a host of wonderful places in the Miami Valley for capturing these flowers with my camera. Some of my favored places are:
- Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark
- Allwood Garden MetroPark
- John Bryan State Park
- Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve
- Morris Reserve
- Beavercreek Wetlands Association
Floral Art by family, genus, and species
As my portfolio of flowers grew, I began to subdivide the art prints in order to keep the selection to a reasonable number. At first, I presented my images as Ohio Spring Wildflowers and then Ohio Summer Wildflowers. Then I learned how coneflowers thrived through Ohio prairies as well as many additional flowers under the Aster Family. For me, as a gallery grows, I’ll continue to subdivide it into the appropriate gallery.
Floral Photography in Healthcare Art
This set of galleries is popular where healthcare art clients are frequent purchasers. The draw for hospitals to purchase prints of colorful flowers lies in a concept called Evidence-based Design. In short, researchers have observed when patients are surrounded by scenes they report less pain, require less pain medication, and are subsequently discharged faster. All this builds on a term called biophilia, the innate human attraction to natural surroundings. I've selected these images of flowers that apply to this requirement.
Fine Art Photography of Flowers
If you are a homeowner or a business owner, one of the best ways to bring peace and calm to your space lies in adorning your wall with flower art prints. In fact, many of these framed prints already hang in your local healthcare facilities bringing comfort to patients and families through the wall decor.
I’m selective about my printing process and only trust a couple of print and framing shops that produce top-quality work. Fine Art prints need to last, so I chose my sources based on their archival materials. My canvas wall prints are produced via Lucia pigments rated for 95 years and are made in Dayton!
With over 450 prints throughout the Miami Valley, I owe much of my success to art consultants and interior designers who’ve reached out to me. For homeowners, there is no better way to relax in your living room or home office than under a print of that serene spot close to home. My message to business owners entails if you want to upgrade your waiting room artwork, I’m ready to assist. You’ll find my artwork often serves as a conversation piece. If your guests are talking about happy places, they’ll dwell less on the approaching appointment. Local artwork also allows you to show off your Dayton pride.
One of the challenges lies in envisioning the outcome and determining if the change of wall décor is right for you. By sending me a photo of your space, I can offer a computer rendition featuring the new art prints which will help you shape your decision.
