Carlyle

Carlyle Lake is an Army Corps of Engineers reservoir near the town of Carlyle, Illinois.  Due to the constant flooding of the Kaskaskia River, Illinois residents pushed for its construction which started in 1958.  Today, Carlyle Lake is a 25,000-acre reservoir and have for outdoor enthusiasts.
