Kumler Chapel, Miami University No. 1

The Story:     Kumler Chapel at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio was built in 1917. It was built for the Western College for Women by architect Thomas Hastings using a Transitional Gothic Style. Inspiration for the chapel came from Église Saint-Pierr in Bazouches-au-Houlme, Normandy. On this spring day, the church is under blue skies as the surrounding trees begin their leaf out.
