- Neil Armstrong – There are a host of sites in Ohio which honors American First Man on the Moon; Armstrong Space Museum, Childhood Home, and where he raised in family in Lebanon Ohio
- Simon Kenton – A contemporary of Daniel Boone, Simon Kenton’s footprints reside all over my part of Ohio. I first learned about him through a book called the Frontiersman
- John Glenn – Ohio is blessed with another explorer who was the first American in space. Ohio has several sites which give us insight to his life outside his exploits like the John & Annie Glenn Museum.
