Ross County, Ohio lies in southern Ohio where the Scioto River flows through its lands. The region served as home for Native Americans as evidenced by the earthworks which populate the valley. In fact, famous archaeologist Squier and Davis documented 100 hundred earth enclosures and 500 mounds.
