These images are of the Ox-eye Daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare) of the Aster family (Asteraceae). The flower goes by a few other names such as oxeye daisy, dog daisy, and marguerite. The plant gives the initial appearance of a Daisy, but it normally appears with 15 to 40 white petals with a yellow mini sunflower-like center. Most of these images were captured in my backyard of a small plot of Ox-eye Daisies that added awesome color to a poolside flower bed.
