Ox-eye Daisy Following a Rain Shower No. 4
The Story: While roaming Morris Reserve near Bellbrook, Ohio after a rain shower it was fun to explore how the rain added an extra dimension to these common Ohio wildflowers. Called Ox-eye Daisies (Leucanthemum vulgare), they possess white petals and a yellow sunflower-like center. The species is also known as oxeye daisy, dog daisy, and marguerite.
