Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument is a unique and amazing land. Coyote Gulch lies along Hole-in-the-Rock Road as water flows to the Escalante River. The subsequent erosion has cut three slot canyons in the dark red Navajo Sandstone: Dry Fork Gulch, Peekaboo Gulch and Spooky Gulch. This gallery presents a series of prints from these undulating and whimsical geologic features where the resulting flowing shapes play with light and shadows in interesting ways. I arrived via Utah Scenic Byway 12, also known as the All-American Road as it winds over the Hogsback stretch. This gallery offers several intricate and richly colored slot canyons which will look great on your wall décor.
