  • Acton Lake:  Named for Clyde Acton who as a member of the General Assembly urged the state legislature to purchase the property in 1941.  In 1956 engineers dammed Four Mile Creek forming Acton Lake. 
  • Hueston Woods Covered Bridge:  Replacing an old steel bridge, construction started in 2011 and the bridge opened 9 month later.  Today the bridges spaces 108 feet using 80,000 board-feet of timber
  • Doty Homestead:  After serving as a family farm for 125 years, the property serves as a pioneer farm.
  • Hueston Woods Lodge & Conference Center:  Built in 1964 the lodge holds 92 rooms offers peaceful views of Acton Lake
