The History of Mt. Storm Park

Mt. Storm Park’s history dates back to the mid-19th century when it was the estate of prominent Cincinnati abolitionist Robert Bonner Bowler.  His mansion, known as “Mt. Storm,” was a grand Italianate villa that attracted visitors from across the region. While the mansion no longer stands, the park retains much of its historical charm, offering a glimpse into Cincinnati’s past.
