In southwest Illinois lies the quiet town of Highland. Wanting to capture peaceful waterscape scenes, I practiced at Silver Lake in a park of the same name. One of my favored places along Silver Lake was a boat dock that jutted out towards the western sky. The minimalist images captured from the dock became so of my favored twilight waterscapes and are appropriate for clients wanting to instill a sense of solitude in their wall décor.
