Mushroom, Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park
The Story: During an early morning walk through Phillips Park, Beavercreek, Ohio I noted several morning dew drops on the leaf of this plant. As the morning sun warmed this prairie scene, I captured this macro image of the dew glistening in the sunlight.

Description
Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park, near Garrettsville, Ohio features thick sandstone layers which slumped due to softer rocks eroding away from underneath. As these 50-foot thick blocks drop, they form narrow crevasses between older preceding slump blocks. Within these little ravines, reside interesting intimate landscapes with beech trees precariously clinging to bare rock by their exposed roots coupled with bright green moss which carpets the sandstone strata.
