Ballard Road Covered Bridge in Winter No. 1

The Story:      The Ballard Road Covered Bridge lies in Greene County Ohio, 5 miles east of Xenia Ohio.  Built in 1883, James E. Brown built this wooden bridge to span Caesar Creek. In 1975, the bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places and as of 2016, it is only one of six covered bridges in Greene County.  On this winter day, the green bridge drew a pleasing contrast between the blue sky and white snow.
