Richard P. Eastman Covered Bridge
The Story: This Richard P. Eastman Hyde Road covered bridge was dedicated in 2014. The bridge supports vehicle traffic which crosses over the Little Miami Scene Trail. Rather than create a normal bridge, Greene County Engineer, Richard Eastman, loved covered bridges and saw an opportunity to bring back some nostalgia. Although he passed on in 2011, the community saw to recognizing his life of integrity and service to family and community as they dedicated this bridge in his name.
