Pearl’s Fen Fennel and the Polished Ladybug No. 5

The Story:      The Beaver Creek Wetlands Association continues adding properties to its land trust such as Pearl’s Fen, near Fairborn, Ohio. In highlighting the wonders of its newest park, the B-W Greeenway teamed up with the Fairborn Art Association for an art exhibit featuring works which draw inspiration from this wetland. I submitted this print of a polished ladybug (Cycloneda munda) which I watched methodically explore every flower cluster of this fennel plant (Foeniculum vulgare) called an umbel.
