The Story:      Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark serves as one of Dayton’s premier gardens. The gardens have several specialty gardens such as the Arbor Garden captured in this scene. In this spring scene, tulips populate the gardens. A month after this image, an EF-4 tornado passed over this park. Despite heavy damage, volunteers rose to the occasion, and weeks later the gardens once again returned to their perfect condition.
