Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home No. 6
The Story: One of Springfield, Ohio’s most distinctive homes along High Street lies in the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home. The mansion was designed by R. H. Robertson who built one of the finest examples of Richardsonian Romanesque Architecture. Featuring locally quarried stone, 17 types of hardwood, and Tiffany windows. The home was built for an industrialist and two-term governor, Asa. S. Bushnell. On this autumn day, the warm light matched the home’s intrinsic earth-tone colors.
