The Story: Polen Farm is operated by the city of Kettering Ohio and serves as the region’s event center for weddings, receptions, and family celebrations. The farm once belonged to the family of Joseph Bigger who eventually sold the land to General Motors executive, Russell V. Polen. The fall of 2021 was delayed to unseasonably warm temperatures but once it hit, the colors exploded over the Miami Valley. On this autumn day, the large maple trees surrounding the Polen Farm Gazebo carried their own illumination thanks to the backlit leaves.
