Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit called Fire and Ice

The Story:      This Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit was one of two aircraft constructed without engines or instruments. Tail number 82-0170 was exposed to -65 to 120 degrees and a series of stress tests validating the operational limits of the fleet. As a result of its contribution, technicians painted the Fire and Ice artwork on the front landing gear panel. This aircraft arrived at the National Museum of the US Air Force in 1999.
