Mississippi Mirror II

The Story:      Hurricane Patricia was the second-most intense tropical cyclone on record worldwide originating south of Mexico, in mid-October 2015. Its remnants reached St Louis at sunset days later. Following this sunset, I lingered next to the Mississippi River through twilight as I rarely recall the river having such a glassy reflection. Normally a stream of river barges continually churn the waters, but on this evening a long pause in traffic allowed the river to reach an unusual state of calm, thus forming a mirror finish to the St Louis skyline.
