Hope Bridge, Huber Heights Ohio No. 2

The Story:      Along the Great Miami Recreational Trail lies the Hope Bridge, which is a new name for a 100-year-old bridge.  Since 1924, the riveted Pennsylvania through truss bridge carried Rip Rap Road traffic over the Great Miami River between Huber Heights and Dayton, Ohio.  In 2002, engineers realigned Rip Rap Road, which bypassed two single-lane steel bridges for a singular modern bridge.  Following a summer of 2020 Tik Tok video, the bridge has gained popularity as a spot for positive graffiti.
