Beavercreek’s Angel Pass Park in Spring
The Story: Angels Pass Park is owned by the Beavercreek Township Park District and resides along Factory Road in Beavercreek Ohio. The main element in Angles Pass Park is a memorial commemorating the 40th anniversary of the deaths of 8 Girl Scouts and their 2 leaders killed near that site in a car-train collision. The girl scouts maintain the memorial and use the site as part of their bridging ceremonies. On this early spring day, the Eastern Red Bud trees which surround the memorial display their pink blossoms.
