The Story:      Asahel Wright was the great uncle of Wilbur and Orville Wright. He purchased this property in 1816. The two-story stone building in the background served as his home which was built in 1806. The lap-sided structure in the foreground was built by another owner in 1830 and operates today as a one-room schoolhouse museum under Centerville-Washington History.
