Yellow Springs Bike Station
The Story: The Little Miami Railroad served as a significant transit corridor through Yellow Springs, Ohio, since 1846. As railroad tracks fell into disrepair, Greene County was an early proponent for converting these rail lines over to recreational trails. With bike paths becoming commonplace, Yellow Springs erected a replica of its original train station which today greets bicyclers, and tourists, and hosts the Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce. On this evening and following a perfect day, the sun’s last rays paint the bike station in golden light.
