Wright Brothers Flyover Sculpture No. 2

The Story:      In 1996 and as the 200th Anniversary of Dayton Ohio approached, city leaders, commissioned this stainless-steel sculpture which was installed in the middle of Main Street. This outdoor public art was created by David Black who listened to inputs before arriving at this design. It’s a 150-foot-long structure which depicts Wilbur and Orville Wright’s first flight which is called Flyover.
