The Story: Following a project called the Buck Creek White Water Project which removed two low-head dams in Springfield, Ohio, kayakers now enjoy access to a few rapids. As Buck Creek flows from C.J. Brown Reservoir through Snyder Park, boaters have access to 6 miles of river with nine whitewater features. On this June day, this short segment of whitewater on Buck Creek allows boaters to Park and Play from one spot in Snyder Park.
