Rock Waves by Anno Seiberts, Delco Park, Kettering No. 4

The Story:      Delco Park offers Kettering, Ohio, residents a host of benefits including a lake, walking paths, the Kettering Veteran’s Plaza, and the C.F. Kettering History Walk. The park enjoys a nearly 70-year history starting with the Delco Sportsman Club. As General Motors left the area, the park transferred to the City of Kettering Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts Department. In embracing the arts, Kettering sponsored an international stone symposium, called Kettering Rocks. This piece was created by Anno Seiberts who called it Rock Waves. The 13-ton piece consists of Indiana Limestone and incorporates a pattern of concentric waves.
