Morris Reserve Pollinator No. 1
The Story: When the Bellbrook Sugarcreek Park District acquired land from the Morris family, they introduced the yellow lance-leaf coreopsis to the former farm field, thereby creating this Miami Valley prairie scene. The park district recognized the need for plants which support pollinators, so they introduced this colorful plant which now spans about 100 acres of Sugarcreek Township adjacent to Bellbrook, Ohio.
