The Story: Indian Lake, near Russells Point, Ohio once existed as a series of small lakes frequented by Native Americans. In the 1850s, the area became Lewistown Reservoir which fed the Miami and Erie Canal. As the canals faded from use, the area next served as a destination resort and amusement park. Today the quieter area hosts many retirement homes and, on this evening, offered stunning skies as the setting sun illuminated overcast but clearing skies.
