Golden Hour Over Linear Park Bridge No. 1

The Story:      In 2001, the City of Piqua Ohio opened a new park called Linear Park. Park designers converted an old railroad bed into a bike path and with it connected Piqua to the Great Miami River Trail and 330 miles of the Miami Valley Trail System. On this perfect early summer evening, this panoramic scene captures a history of transportation through Piqua: with the Great Miami River gracefully bending around the city, Lock Nine Park to the far left, then railroads, and today, a massive trail network that joins one of the largest in the US.
