The Story: Although Dead Horse State Park offers a stunning view deep into the Jurassic time period, these late evening scenes from the top of Dead Horse Point presented a more intimate setting to those who approach the cliffs. On this summer evening, while dwelling along the top of the mesa, I was entranced by how the warm light washed over the red sandstone layers emphasizing the landforms of past beach environments.
