Cedar Cliff Falls on a Rainy Autumn Day No. 3

The Story:      A view looking upstream over Massie Creek and Cedar Cliff Falls flows into the gorge below. Cedar Cliff Falls lies west of Cedarville Ohio and is part of the Greene County Parks & Trails system. The dam is a remnant of a mill which once harnessed the power of Massie Creek as it flows through the gorge that was formed 12,000 years before by the melting Wisconsin Glacier. On this spring day, recent rains increased the waterfall’s power creating a pocket of mist at the foot of the falls.
