A Family Remembers No. 2

The Story:     Originally called Decoration Day, today’s Memorial Day is set aside as a day to commemorate America’s war dead. Several scout troops from the Miami Valley decorated Dayton National Cemetery for Memorial Day honoring the 50,000 veterans entombed throughout the 116-acre landscape. In addition to the scouts, many family members came to visit loved ones and such as this family who left mylar balloons which gently floated in the spring breeze.
