The Story:      The Boeing B-29 Superfortress, “Bockscar” on display in Dayton, Ohio at the National Museum of the United States Air Force. On 9 Aug 1945, this bomber dropped the Fat Man atomic bomb on Nagasaki, Japan. With the end of WWII, the airplane was given to the Air Force Museum in September 1946 where it remains on permanent display.
