Piqua Public Library Interior
The Story: Fort Piqua is an impressive architectural structure displaying Richardson Romanesque-style architecture in downtown Piqua, Ohio. In the early 2000s, the building was revitalized and today hosts the Piqua Public Library. The architectural wonders designed by Josephy W. Yost continue inside the library such as the mezzanine in this image. The marble floors, second-story skylights, and massive carved stone fireplace highlight its impressive heritage.
