Peterson Park Log Cabin No. 2

The Story:      On grounds which once served as a historic rest area, Greene County Parks and Trails recently restored a Pre-1825 Log House. Research indicates the cabin was built in Clark County about 1814. Late in the 1800s, the family of Samuel R. Heathcock relocated the cabin to its current location at US 42 and Williamson Road outside Cedarville Ohio. On this October evening, the warm light illuminates the log home as it sits under blue October skies.
