The Story: Outside the Miamisburg Civic Center, the city wanted to commemorate its Native American History. The Miamisburg area holds remnants from multiple Native American cultures as far back as 1000 B.C. In honor of this heritage, the City of Miamisburg Ohio commissioned Marie Barbera to create this bronze Native American sculpture called Miami of Woodsman American Indian.
