The Story:      The B-17F Memphis Belle was the first airplane and crew to complete 25 missions over WWII’s Germany. After a detailed renovation, the Memphis Belle was placed on display at the National Museum of the United States Air Force on 17 May 2018. On this day, the Boeing B-17 was displayed on pylons with its wheels up and its bomb bay doors open.
