Huffman Prairie Twilight

The Story:     Huffman Prairie serves as the epicenter of aviation. Following their 17 Dec 1903 demonstration, the Wright Bros set up operations in this field conducting 150 flights in 1904-1905 which refined the mastery of flight. Today the prairie resides on Wright-Patterson AFB which is home to the 445th Airlift Wing. On this evening, the wing’s C-17s take to the evening skies as a colorful sunset bursts over the Miami Valley.
