Helen’s Stone, Glen Helen
The Story: Recognizing the unique landscape and the beauty of its springs and hardwood forest, Hugh Taylor Birch, a class of 1869 graduate of Antioch College, purchased several pieces of adjoining land to the college. In 1929, he donated the land to Antioch in memory of his daughter Helen Birch Bartlett. This monument symbolizes his memory of her.
