Hamilton Street Spark Incrementum and Hebe Fountain No. 3

The Story:      As part of Hamilton, Ohio’s StreetSpark Program, the Rotary Club of Hamilton commissioned Nicole Trimble in creating this mural called Incrementum.  Incrementum depicts Hebe, the Greek goddess of Spring while Incrementum is a Latin word for growth.  The mural’s subject appears to draw inspiration from the First National Bank fountain which resides in front of the mural while the additional elements draw on Rotary Club symbology.  Although the city has moved and refurbished the historic Hebe Fountain several times, it has been a part of the Hamilton, Ohio street scene since 1890.
