Golden Hour Over Bryce Canyon No. 10

The Story:      Standing along the rim of Bryce Canyon National Park during a sunrise, visitors witness the morning light raking across the very large natural amphitheater. After taking in the vastness of the space, one begins to note the hundreds of rock pinnacles, or hoodoos. Hoodoos form from layers of sedimentary rocks uniquely shaped by frost weathering and erosion. On this morning, although some hoodoos were already catching the morning sun, even the shaded hoodoos were illuminated by the light reflecting off the canyon wall.
