Dayton Mail Pouch Tobacco Barn
The Story: For most of the 20th Century, it was common to see barns painted with the Mail Pouch Tobacco logo. In this part of Ohio, most were painted or repaired by Harley Warrick. Due to the 1995 Federal Regulations on tobacco advertising, it’s difficult to find a barn still displaying this advertising. On this summer day southwest of Dayton Ohio, this brightly painted barn offers a nostalgic view that’s now fading into history.
