The Story:      Carriage Hill MetroPark in Huber Heights Ohio offers visitors a glimpse into 19th Century farm life. Owning the land since 1968, the Five Rivers MetroParks has made many improvements to include erecting this visitor center in 1993 and converting former farmland over to wildflower prairies. On this summer day, a field of Wild Bergamot and Gray-headed Coneflower greets those approaching the bright red visitor center.
