Miami Valley Art Prints
The Buckeye State has varying topography from glacial-formed prairies in the west to the Appalachians in the east, to river country in the south and lake country to the north. In between, Ohio hosts many impressive state parks, caves, gorges and trails to include Hocking Hills State Park. With the melting of glaciers, the area formed many geologic wonders due to the state’s rivers such as the Little Miami, Mad River, Miami, Stillwater and Scioto Rivers. As glaciers cleared the Buckeye state, native Americans known as mound builders, worked the lands leaving behind Indian mounds and intriguing earthworks which possess Archeo-astrological alignments. These images capture the best Ohio has to offer.
